The new breed of skilled human resources is instrumental in generating new technologies, and in its assessment, refinement and finally its dissemination to the farming community. Modern agriculture demands continuous innovation in crop production, soil management, irrigation, mechanization, and biotechnology. Skilled professionals are vital for developing these technologies and transferring them effectively to farmers. To sustain and realize the potential of agriculture, skilled human resources are essential. Without them, food security, climate resilience, and global competitiveness cannot be achieved, making education and training the cornerstone of progress.

  With these objectives in mind, Shriram Shikshan Sanstha initiated education in the field of Agriculture in the academic year 2013–14 with an intake capacity of 60 students. Recognizing the growing demand and the need to empower more youth with agricultural education, the intake capacity was increased to 120 students from the academic year 2023 onwards. This expansion reflects the institution’s commitment to nurturing future agricultural professionals who can contribute to innovation, sustainability, and rural development.
