Ragging is a Criminal offence and is a bad element in the student world which involves negative actions of both physical and mental influence of students. Ragging is one the evil in the educational institute and legally banned activity and a crime which means doing an act which causes or is likely to cause insult or threat or injury to a student within or around any educational institution. As per central Governments and University Grant Commission directives, College should form a high level standing committee to prohibit, prevent and eliminate the scourge of ragging in the institution, and establish Zero Tolerance policy as to ragging in the institutions.
